With over 12 years of professional graphic arts experience, Paul Koob has influenced the cultural landscape of Chicago by working with clients in the arts, humanities and not-for-profit sectors. He feels lucky and truly grateful. Paul holds a BFA degree from the School of Art and Design at the University of Illinois at Chicago where his visual education was comprised of courses in sculpture, photography, drawing and printmaking, as well as design and typography. This well-rounded curriculum provided him with the valuable tools essential to his craft and fostered his ability to approach projects from numerous directions. Since 1991, Paul has written, illustrated, and published a series of comic books called Hamster Man. He has enjoyed international distribution as well as weekly publication in the Chicago Reader. Paul is currently writing and illustrating an alphabet book about cheese titled "A, B, Cheese!". |
